Last week me & Lola grabbed our camera, props and brand new tartan dress and went to my friend’s house to do the Christmas photo shoot. I couldn’t have been happier with the results; the tartan dress looks absolutely perfect for the festive season.
Lola was singing away “have a holly jolly Christmas, it’s the best time of the year” it was very festive.
I love these photographs it was hard to pick out which ones to use!
Next we took the sleeves off and put Lola’s own white shirt underneath witch was my favourite look. It really set off the dress and colours, perfect for Christmas. Lola has already said that this is what she is wearing from Christmas day when we meet with the family.
The dress is fully lined and sleeves are easily taken off, the fabric is soft and can be moved in easily. When I put the pictures up last week, I had a lot of interest in age 2-4 which we currently don’t do, as the brand is aimed at children being creative and individual, we’re basically giving the children the tools and they are then getting the freedom of being designers themselves. Choosing textures, colours and fabrics, realising what is a warm or cool, soft or stiff, stretchy or non-stretch and generally having fun with fashion. A two-year-old wouldn’t be able to change the sleeves but on the other hand they could have fun with their senses feeling different materials picking out colours themselves that they like and learning the names of them, that would be great for early learning key skills and parents could change the sleeves for them. As there is a demand for them, I will be looking into it in my future projects.
We have lots of sleeves that will be available in the new year, glitter jogging, corduroy, cottons, scuba, checks, strips, spotted, stars all in a Varity of colours, were super excited to share these with you and will keep you up to date.
