World Creativity an Innovation Day

Why not start the day out by brainstorming or sketching, sit down and think of all the things you do during the day and how you might change them for the better. Throughout your day keep a notepad handy for ideas that occur to you, whether they are for your own use, or ways that would help other people. Send it to them and let them know how you think it may benefit everyone. Got a new idea for your workplace? Inform your bosses and see what they have to say? Got a new plan for you or the family? Set it in motion and see where your creativity gets you.
World Creativity and Innovation Day could be the day that set your life on a whole new path!

Something for the children
 As we celebrate
‘World Creativity and Innovation Day’ today we thought this would be a great activity for the children to get stuck into. Why not draw a life size portrait of themselves!

This is a great way for the children to have fun and design their own outfit on themselves. We used A3 paper, 12 sheets were plenty for Lola’s height, then celotaped them together, next, I drew round her body. Lola was chuffed when she stood up and saw herself drawn out!
This is a great way for all the family to get involved, you could do one for every family member!

Stripe on paper Lola drawing

The dress Lola is wearing during this activity is our Stripe dress from the Originals collection available from age 4-12.

We send very best wishes to you, your families, your friends and your colleagues at this uncertain time.
Have a good week
Stay home and stay safe
